Manila / Paris
Depart Manila for Paris.

| Day 02 – |
Paris (Dinner)
On arrival in Paris, you will be met by a representative of the tour operator. Short orientation drive around the city with a guide, including a visit to the Chapelle de la Medaille Miraculeuse (St. Catherine). Check-in at the hotel after lunch. Balance of day free with coach at group’s disposal for 12 hours. Dinner at restaurant before returning to hotel for the night.

| Day 03 – |
Paris (Breakfast, Dinner)
Today’s sightseeing will revolve around the Ignatian sights. Visit the University of Paris, in particular the College of St. Barbara, where Ignatius
studied Latin Grammar and Literature, Philosophy and Theology. Visit also the Eglise St Ignace, the main Jesuit church in Paris. Included in the tour is Sacre Coeur in Montmartre, site of a famous abby of the Benedictine nuns, frequented by both Ignatius and Xavier. Another stop is Eglise St. Paul – St. Louis, another Jesuit church showcasing the group’s influence in pre-Revolutionary Paris. Last stop of the day is the Chapelle des Auxilliatrices, where Ignatius founded the Jesuit movement in 1534.

| Day 04 – |
Paris (Breakfast, Dinner)
Full day Paris tour with guide to include the following sights: Notre Dame Cathedral, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triompe, Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Napoleon’s Tomb. End your tour with a cruise of the Seine on a bateaux Mouches. Dinner at Jardins St. Germain.

| Day 05 – |
Paris / Lourdes (Breakfast, Dinner)
After breakfast, transfer to Montparnasse station to catch the TGV to Lourdes. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After lunch, commence half-day walking tour of the sights significant in the life of Bernadette. Visit the Cachot, the parish church, Fr.Peyramale’s Presbytery, the hospice, Boly Mill and the sanctuaries in Lourdes. Mass at the Grotto will be arranged. Dinner at the hotel. Join the procession after dinner (depending on season).

| Day 06 – |
Lourdes / Loyola (Breakfast, Dinner)
Commence with the long-distance coach service. Transfer to Loyola (239 kms / 4 hrs), the birthplace and home of St. Ignatius. After a short orientation drive around the city, check-into the hotel. Balance of the day free for private activities. Dinner at the hotel.

| Day 07 – |
Loyola / Arantzazu / Loyola (Breakfast, Dinner)
After breakfast, proceed to Azpeitia to St. Ignatius’ house and museum for a private visit. Then to Arantzazu (46 kms / 1:10hrs) for a stop at the popular Shrine of Our Lady of Arantzazu, where St. Ignatius prayed for strength to overcome the temptations to which he formerly yielded. Possible side-trip to the seaside resort town of San Sebastian. Return to Loyola for dinner.

| Day 08 – |
Loyola / Javier / Pamplona (Breakfast, Dinner)
Long-distance coach travel to Javier (146 kms / 2.5 hrs), to visit the Castle where St. Francis was born. Visit some of the rooms like the armory and the room St. Francis lived in. Continue our travel to Pamplona (52 kms / 1 hr), where St. Ignatius received a wound that was to plague him for life. Short city tour of Pamplona before we check-into the hotel.

| Day 09 – |
Pamplona / Zaragoza / Barcelona (Breakfast, Dinner)
Immediately after breakfast, depart for Zaragoza ( 175 kms / 3 hrs). Upon arrival, you will do a city tour, including the Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Pilar decorated with frescoes by Goya, Gonzalez Velazquez and Francisco Bayeau. Continue to Barcelona (309 kms / 5 hrs) for dinner and overnight.

| Day 10 – |
Barcelona / Manresa / Barcelona (Breakfast, Dinner)
After breakfast, travel to Manresa (64 kms / 1hr) where in a cave on the banks of the Cardoner River, Ignatius received a vision that inspired him to pen the "Spiritual Exercises." Enjoy an audiovisual presentation and tour of the museum on your own. Celebrate Mass at the nearby cave before returning to Barcelona.

| Day 11 – |
Barcelona / Montserrat / Barcelona (Breakfast, Dinner)
After breakfast , proceed to Monserrat (62 kms / 1hr), home to the dramatic Benedictine monastery. Visit the Black Madonna, before whom Ignatius put his sword and exchanged his fancy clothes for those of a beggar. Pilgrims from around the world flock to this monastery to view its magnificent architecture. Return to Barcelona for a guided city tour. Visit the Basilica of Nuestra Senyora Del Mar, where Ignatius would often beg for alms and Gaudi’s Basilica of the Sagrada Familia. After the tour, dinner is at a local restaurant.

| Day 12 – |
Barcelona / Rome (Breakfast , Dinner)
Free morning in Barcelona until time to transfer to the airport for your flight to Rome. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. En route to your hotel, pass through the gate of San Sebastian, through which Ignatius would have entered the city on Palm Sunday in 1523. Dinner at a local restaurant.

| Day 13 – |
Rome: St. Peter’s Basilica (Breakfast, Dinner)
Do a short orientation tour around Rome this morning before visiting St. Peter’s Basilica, calling to mind Ignatius’ mystical experience in the Basilica. Visit the Sistine Chapel, as well as the Vatican Museum. Dinner at local restaurant.

| Day 14 – |
Rome: Gesu, Rooms of Ignatius, Collegio Romano (Breakfast, Dinner)
Visit the Church of the Gesu, the Mother Church of the Ignatian Order. Celebrate Mass in the Rooms of St. Ignatius. In the afternoon, visit Collegio Romano, where Robert Bellarmine served as rector and Aloysius Gonzaga was a student at the same time. Continue to the Church of San Ignazio, set up in the 17th century to serve the community at Collegio Romano. Make a stop at the Church of the Twelve Apostles, where Ignatius gathered together 12 laymen to serve secretly the poor. Dinner at local restaurant.

| Day 15 – |
Rome: La Storta, & Jesuit Sites (Breakfast, Dinner)
Today’s visit include La Storta Chapel, the site outside the city where Ignatius received his mystical vision of Christ and the Father. Follow Ignatius’ path into the city by walking through the Porta del Popolo and stop to pray at Santa Maria del Popolo. Proceed to the Piazza of the Pantheon, where Ignatius used to teach catechism. In the afternoon, visit the Basilica of Maria Magggiore where on Christmas day in 1538, Ignatius celebrated his first Mass. Other Jesuit sites you will visit are the Church of Sant’ Andrea al Quirinale, built on the site of the first Jesuit novitiate; the tomb and reconstructed rooms of St. Stanislaus; and a brief visit to the Gregorian University.

| Day 16 – |
Rome: Ancient Rome (Breakfast, Dinner)
Enjoy the sights of Ancient Rome today, including the Forum and Coliseum. In the afternoon, visit the Catacombs of St. Calixtus; the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, where Ignatius and his Companions made their solemn vows and celebrated Mass at the altar of the Virgin. You can also celebrate Mass at this church in remembrance of Ignatius and his Companions.
